12 hours of Mountain Biking
Dan and our neighbor Charlie did a mountain bike race this past weekend, where unfortunately a bear mauled one of the participants on the trail. The young woman who was mauled is expected to make it, although she has a long road to go on due to her injuries. No doubt her training as an superb young athlete will support her as she goes down the road to recovery.
The Almost-Not-Quite finished windows
They are getting closer to being fully completed! We have trim up on the insides, the only thing we are waiting on is completing the rebuild of the fireplace and drywall around it before we can paint all the trim and get it finished.
Frames of the three windows, soon to be...
Two windows!

Fireplace Dismantled!
Dan completed the fire place dismantling this past weekend - it didn't take that long once we got everything going! The craziest part is that the contractor who was installing the windows just showed up at our house on Monday...ready to install the windows near the fireplace! It's a good thing Dan got the fireplace taken apart after all.
It took the contractors only two days to install all the windows...13 of them in total. And only one window was broken in the process of removing them. They did an amazing job and we are super excited to see the finished product.
