Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween 2010! We had some fun at our household, despite 3 of the 4 of us being sick! We only had 2 sets of trick or treaters, probably less than 10 kids in total, which was a bummer, but just as good since I wasn't feeling up to answering the door all night. We didn't take Harper out for trick or treating since she did it last Friday with the other kids from her school at the BP office. Every year, BP puts on a small trick or treat for the kids at the main building in Anchorage - it's pretty fun and the kids get to wear their costumes without wearing the obligatory snow gear that's required in Alaska. Here's some photos of our pumpkin carving and indoor trick or treating from last week.

Harper loved pulling the pumpkin guts out...

...and playing with them in the bowl! I'm glad we don't have a squeamish girlie girl.

Harper taking candy politely, just before cleaning out the Legal Department of treats. The trick was on them!

Harper wasn't so sure what to do about these goblins holding the candy in the drilling department. They really stopped her...she couldn't figure out if they were real or not, and if they were a threat or not to her candy taking. She got up enough guts to take some candy, and when they didn't move she just took another handful. Atta girl!

Did someone put a core sample in Harper's bag? She can't seem to pick it up, it' so heavy!
