This picture is from last weekend when I was getting ready to plant all my flowers! Dan was making me laugh and the sun is in my eyes...not the best photo I've taken, but at least it's a shot where you can begin to see my growing belly. Baby is moving a lot now and is definitely an active child.
el Guapo is still his same old self, he seems really happy that summer is here so he can get back to playing his favorite game of ball. He will sit like this waiting for me to throw the ball for a while if we tell him to 'leave it' alone...
We have our new windows coming soon - hooray! So Dan began dismantling the south wall in order to see what's behind the wood paneling. Turns out that the wood paneling we though was cheap stuff is actually solid cedar, and really nice. But we found some mold on the underside of it so we were happy that we are taking it off anyway. We plan on replacing the three windows on either side of our fireplace with a big picture window on each side, but first we have to see how the wall is constructed to see how much work it will be to re-frame it. The window installer is coming at the end of this week to complete the demolition and let us know what he thinks the damage will be. Oh yeah - with that, we discovered that in order to remove all the wood paneling and re-frame the wall, we will most likely have to remove the fireplace brick facade. Which means that we have to remove the gas fireplace insert (and we might as well replace that while it's out) and redo that entire part of the wall too. Ahhh, classic scope growth. Hopefully we'll have everything done by the time baby shows up!

I love the gerber daisies you bought. Those will be bright and fun to look at all summer, along with your growing belly! Good luck with your construction project. Hopefully the scope won't get even bigger!
Congrats on the baby! We are so excited for you!
You are looking good, Holly! Love the baby bump!
