31 weeks

Yellow leaves on the driveway and it was dark enough that I saw a star two nights ago! Fall is here (if not imminent) and winter is not too far behind, meaning baby's arrival is sooner that I thought!! Even though it was a four day work week it felt like a six day week...I have been pretty tired, and I think baby's going through a growth spurt. No belly shot this week since my photographer is out of town still...but he should be back for a short visit soon (Monday, I hope!).

el Guapo is wondering why we are always going to bed shortly after I get home from work...I'm still trying to make it a priority to play fetch with Guap so at least one of us is getting exercise!

I've begun painting the trim in Baby's room (nice blue masking tape is still on the walls), which is becoming a test of my patience! Dan's the trim & detail guy, where I would much rather stick to painting walls. It's beginning to look nice now, and maybe I'll have it all done by the time the flooring arrives in a few more weeks. I also ordered blinds for the bedrooms, since we have not had any window coverings since we put in the new windows in June. It's actually getting dark now and it'll be nice to have something covering the windows for privacy during the dark months.

I am just now encountering the difficulties of buying baby gear in the 49th state. Everything is 15 - 20% more expensive than in the L48 and getting online orders shipped here is pricey for the most part. My latest shopping 'adventure' was with the car seats yesterday. Only three days ago I could have bought the infant carrier we wanted on Target.com with free shipping, but now it's not available, meaning the price of the carrier is now much higher than I wanted to spend. I now feel like I have to do more research on this and potentially choose a different carrier. More research to do. Knowing that I didn't have the buy the crib at the dreaded Baby Depot still is nice, however maybe by not suffering through that experience I am destined to have other issues with baby gear!!

Online shopping is your friend. Making all those decisions is the hardest part! Baby W's room is going to look great, can't wait to see it!
