Grandpa came to visit over the weekend when the Iditarod ceremonial start was in Anchorage - even though it was a quick trip we had so much fun playing with Harper and seeing the wintry sights Anchorage has to offer. The only thing missing was a Northern Lights display...they've been pretty non-existent this year. I've become a total Lance Mackey groupie over the past two years...so it was a real treat to get to see him at the start line of the Iditarod with his dogs. We wish him all the best on the trail this year!
