Sleepover in Seattle

Thanks to a certain temperamental volcano (Redoubt!), our flight back from California was canceled on Friday evening, so we are 'stuck' in Seattle for a few days. We tried to make the most of it, once we went shopping and got some essentials (of course our bags went on to Anchorage without us!). We got out of the hotel to see some sights, and the sun even came out to play. We also went to a totally gluten free restaurant - DaVinci's - which was amazing, I was able to eat gluten free pizza that I didn't have to make myself (it's been a long time!).

Entering into Pike's Place Market, I was so glad they didn't mistake Harper for a fish!

Our little scuba diver

Complete with fins, Mom shows Harper how to put the scuba gear on

Harper and the puffin - the puffin couldn't get enough of Harper and he just paddled toward her through the glass

So many fish

Staring at the fish

Reflection in the glass - the fish were mesmerizing

Oh darn, stuck in Seattle. Other than the no clothes thing, it sounds like a fun little unexpected vacation:)
